Behavioral Medicine is where medical and mental health services meet. That’s our specialty.

Qualifying for Disability

Some mental health conditions are disabling by themselves. These conditions qualify for eligibility when there is a connection between:

  • an in-service event (accident or illness)
  • and the signs and symptoms of the disability

There are also proven connections between some medical and mental health conditions.   These may be causing or aggravating one another.  To qualify for benefits there must be:

  • a cause-and-effect relationship with
  • a service connected condition as primary
